About The Position

Integris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union, is seeking an individual to work as a Member Service Representative (MSR) on a temporary, part-time basis for 18 months at their McBride branch. MSRs are responsible for delivering exceptional service, making quality referrals, and addressing member issues and complaints with professionalism and positivity. This role requires an outgoing individual with superior communication skills, adept at resolving problems tactfully and exercising sound judgment.

Requirements

Basic understanding of financial transactions and customer service.
Ability to clearly and effectively interact with members.
Efficiently manage transactions and maintain accurate records.
Proven ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Accuracy in handling financial transactions and member information.

Responsibilities

Negotiate basic transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cheque orders, foreign currency, and wire transfers.
Complete daily balancing of money orders, cheques, bills, credit card transactions, and foreign exchange.
Open simple sub-accounts, respond to general inquiries, update member information, and handle basic account maintenance and closures.
Build member relationships, achieve referral goals, encourage the use of new products, and provide information on credit union services.
Assist with branch administrative tasks, balance the ATM, and help maintain branch appearance.
