The Member Services Rep is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift, maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, and staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app. This role ensures all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation, conducts regular audits to maintain club presentation standards, and performs club walkarounds with associated cleaning tasks. The position involves auditing and balancing cash drawers, updating member information, ensuring adherence to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. Key aspects include communicating with members to create a high level of service, stocking retail and janitorial items, understanding company standards, and resolving member issues. The role also involves auditing club inventory, staying up-to-date on certifications and training, participating in team meetings, and promoting the club to potential members. Additionally, the Member Services Rep will assist with membership promotions, operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. They will also operate and assist members with various fitness equipment and amenities, and represent the company at community events.
