The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to their best abilities during their assigned work shift, monitoring and maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, and staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates. This role ensures that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently, conducts regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and holds up to Excel standards, and performs club walkarounds to complete assigned cleaning or associated tasks. The representative will also audit and balance cash drawers daily, properly input and update prospective and current member information, ensure members adhere to company policies, and provide a safe and secure environment. Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, as is the ability to stock retail and janitorial items, understand and adhere to company standards, and resolve day-to-day member issues. The role involves auditing club inventory, staying up-to-date on required certifications and training, and participating in team meetings. Additionally, the Member Services Representative will communicate with, promote, tour, and assist prospects, assist with club membership promotions, and ensure the club complies with all state and federal laws and insurance requirements. They will also operate and assist members with equipment and amenities, ensuring all applicable processes and procedures are adhered to, and represent the company at community events.
