The Member Services Rep is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift, ensuring club cleanliness and atmosphere, and maintaining proficiency in the Planet Fitness mobile app. This role requires ensuring all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation, conducting regular audits to maintain club presentation according to Excel standards, and performing club walkarounds with associated cleaning tasks. The position involves auditing and balancing cash drawers daily, updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. A key aspect is communicating with members to create a high level of service, stocking retail and janitorial items, and resolving day-to-day member issues. The role also includes auditing club inventory, staying up-to-date on certifications and training, participating in team meetings, promoting the club to prospects, assisting with membership promotions and operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Additionally, the Member Services Rep will operate and assist members with various amenities like equipment, tanning, and HydroMassage, and may represent the company at community events.
