The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift, monitoring and maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, and staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates. This role ensures that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently, conducts regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and holds up to Excel standards, and performs club walkarounds to complete assigned cleaning or associated tasks. The representative will also audit and balance cash drawers daily, properly input and update prospective and current member information, ensure members adhere to company policies, and provide a safe and secure environment. A key aspect of this role is communicating with members to create a high level of member service, stocking retail and janitorial items, and understanding company standards. They will also audit club inventory, communicate with management on order recommendations, stay up-to-date on certifications and training, and participate in team meetings. Additionally, the role involves communicating with, promoting to, touring, and assisting prospects and potential members, assisting management with club membership promotions and operational strategies, and ensuring the club complies with all state and federal laws. The representative will operate and assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities, and represent the company at community events.
