The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift. This role involves maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app, and ensuring all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation. The representative will conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and meets Excel standards, perform club walkarounds, and complete assigned cleaning tasks. They will also be responsible for auditing and balancing cash drawers daily, inputting and updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, as is the ability to stock retail and janitorial items, understand company standards, and resolve day-to-day member issues. The role also includes auditing club inventory, communicating with management on order recommendations, staying up-to-date on certifications and training, and participating in team meetings. Additionally, the representative will communicate with, promote, tour, and assist prospects and potential members, assist management with membership promotions and operational strategies, and ensure the club complies with all state and federal laws and insurance requirements. They will operate and assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities, ensuring all processes are adhered to. Finally, the role involves assisting management and representing the company at community events and outreach activities.
