The Member Services Representative Front Desk is a part-time, non-exempt position responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift. This role involves maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, staying proficient with the Planet Fitness mobile app, and ensuring all training is completed for safe and efficient operation. The representative will conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable according to Excel standards, perform club walkarounds, and complete assigned cleaning tasks. They will also be responsible for auditing and balancing cash drawers daily, inputting and updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. A key aspect of the role is communicating with members to create a high level of member service, stocking retail and janitorial items, and understanding company standards to resolve member issues. The representative will also audit club inventory, communicate with management on order recommendations, and stay up-to-date on certifications and training. Participation in team meetings is expected, as is communicating with, promoting, touring, and assisting prospects. The role involves assisting management with membership promotions and operational strategies, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and operating/assisting members with various club amenities. Additionally, the representative may assist management at community events and outreach activities.
