About The Position

The Senior Member Services Associate is a key member of the Member Services team reporting to the Member Services Supervisor. The primary goal of this position is to deliver flawless service to our members and independent agency partners. This person will ensure efficient and quality customer interactions, respond to inquiries, and process transactions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience in a high volume, fast paced environment preferred where multitasking and organizational skills are required.
  • Data entry and database management experience and working knowledge of excel, word, and email applications.
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience preferred; working with high net worth clientele a plus.
  • Outstanding customer service skills including excellent interpersonal, listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity, exhibit team spirit and enthusiasm, and establish trust and credibility.
  • Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations.
  • Demonstrated success with leadership capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer experience and maintain duties and responsibilities as outlined under the Member Services Associate role
  • Act as primary mentor in new hire training for regional team while sustaining relevancy of training manual and materials
  • Observe authority statement designated on experience and tenure when processing transactions in policy administration system
  • Lead ad-hoc special projects on direction of Director of Member Services and Team Lead
  • Maintain ownership of additional responsibilities based on location and team size
  • Receive preferential choice for scheduling, based on specialty, role and assignment
  • Participate in peer- review quality control audits with Team Leads
  • Assist Team Lead in talent acquisition process including sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing
  • Develop specialty expertise in selected area to provide enhanced support for team
