About The Position

First Capital Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative (Teller) to join its West York team. The role supports members’ everyday financial experiences by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service with routine transactions and account needs. The position also involves learning about credit union products and services, recognizing members’ needs, and connecting them with solutions that support their financial well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Commitment to providing courteous, professional, and personalized service.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Ability to recognize member needs and confidently recommend appropriate products and services.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining member confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a financial institution, retail cash-handling environment, or customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by answering questions, identifying needs, and delivering timely, accurate assistance.
• Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, while maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
• Assist members with account maintenance requests, including name and address changes.
• Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate credit union products and services that align with members’ needs and financial goals.
• Build strong member relationships through active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, professional approach.
• Protect member confidentiality and follow established policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
• Represent First Capital’s mission, vision, and You First Core Values in every member interaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
