About The Position

The YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Membership Team! As a part of this dynamic team, you’ll be at the heart of creating welcoming, inclusive environments for individuals and families to connect, grow, and thrive. The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Enrollment Specialist to guide prospective members through the enrollment process, give tours, and foster relationships that connect them to the YMCA, fellow members, and programs to fit their individual needs.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Demonstrates effective communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Build effective, authentic relationships with members and help them meet other members and staff.
• Promote programs and events to our members and the community.
• Conduct interviews and tours with prospective members.
• Enroll and register new members in programs.
