About The Position
The YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Membership Team! As a part of this dynamic team, you’ll be at the heart of creating welcoming, inclusive environments for individuals and families to connect, grow, and thrive. The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Enrollment Specialist to guide prospective members through the enrollment process, give tours, and foster relationships that connect them to the YMCA, fellow members, and programs to fit their individual needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. If currently enrolled in high school, a diploma will need to be provided upon completion.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Excellent human relations skills and enthusiasm.
- An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all to belong at the Y.
- Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
- Exemplify outstanding customer service and a sense of community to Members, Participants, and Coworkers to foster their connection and growth with the Y and within the community.
