The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Scan Station Attendant to join our team as an ambassador of the YMCA, delivering a high standard of service that is efficient, effective, and member-focused at all times.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent human relations skills with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Successfully complete within 60 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/O2 Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Child Abuse Prevention training, and all other required training as specified by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Connect: Build welcoming and positive relationships with members and guests at entry points.
• Serve: Ensure all members scan upon entry to identify membership status. Guide non/inactive members or guests to the membership desk.
• Deliver: Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service while assisting with member needs and questions.
• Assist: If assigned to an outdoor pool gate, may be assigned to assist members in poolside refreshment area. Tasks include taking and fulfilling orders, handling and securing cash, order delivery, and inventory upkeep.
