About The Position

This position is responsible for creating exceptional member experience while processing transactions, as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote and self-service options. Reports to: Branch Manager. Employment Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt, in-person. Salary Range: $21.48 - $25 an hour depending on experience. Bonus Target: 5% of base pay potential incentive bonus if the credit union hits its goals. Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM. Grade: 5BC. Industry: Banking. Job Functions: Tellering, Teller, Banker, Banking, Member Representative.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
6 month Financial Institution experience
6 Months Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience

Responsibilities

Assist members with their financial needs and transactions.
Identify, develop, and refer business relationships to build market position.
Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services and assist in self-service options.
Foster and maintain constructive member relationships.
Review and maintain knowledge of products.
Understand and recommend products and services based on the member’s needs.
Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch and credit union goals.
Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals.
Maintain knowledge and adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
Accepts and processes all financial transactions accurately.
Maintains responsibility and follows proper balancing procedures.
Promote and effectively demonstrate digital, remote and self-serve options, with continual education as new products and digital services are introduced.
Proactively generate new memberships through branch sales activities.
