Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to operate multiple vehicle types, including sedans, vans, pickup trucks, and vehicles up to 5 tons
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license, including a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA badge
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the workday
  • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs frequently
  • Ability to wear required PPE (steel toe shoes, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses) for extended periods
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to follow work instructions and safely perform assigned duties

Responsibilities

  • Operate furniture/equipment handling trucks to safely relocate furniture, equipment, gas bottles, chemicals, and other materials
  • Move freight, stock, furniture, and other materials as assigned
  • Pick up and deliver locally purchased materials and supplies as needed
  • Shuttle passenger vehicles as required
  • Transport vehicles to offsite vendors for maintenance or repairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform work safely and in compliance with all applicable safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Complete assigned work within required timelines with or without direct supervision
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and other teams
  • Support a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards
  • Perform transportation and material handling services in accordance with customer requirements
