About The Position

Monarch Communities/Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, observing changes in residents’ daily routines and personal care needs, and updating their Resident Care Plans accordingly. The Medication Technician also encourages residents to participate in community programs and activities.

This is a per-diem position at 41 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey. Shifts are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Employees must be available for at least four shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift and one holiday shift per month. Pay is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Medication Aide (RMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
• Availability for a minimum of four shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift and one holiday shift per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Observe changes in residents’ daily routines and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plans.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
