About The Position
Cedar Community is hiring a Medication Technician (Med Tech) Resident Assistant to support residents in a warm, respectful, and supportive home environment. The role administers medications safely and accurately, documents medication administration, monitors residents for side effects or changes in condition, and supports activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence. The posting lists AM and NOC shifts and shift differentials. Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Document medication administration and monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition.
- Handle, store, and secure medications properly.
- Communicate with nursing staff about residents’ medication needs and concerns.
- Support residents with activities of daily living as needed while promoting dignity and independence.
