About The Position

Boyd Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of its casino facility. The role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff across gaming floors, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.

Requirements

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitization protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid government-issued identification and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize gaming floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning carpets and hard surfaces.
Clean restroom fixtures, restock supplies, and follow sanitation protocols.
Empty and replace trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to company guidelines.
Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and other cleaning emergencies throughout the property.
Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, equipment, and furniture in accordance with health and safety standards.
Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other necessary items in designated areas.
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Communicate maintenance issues or areas requiring special attention to supervisors.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the casino.
