Assisted Living Medication Manager Part-time
About The Position
As a Medication Manager with The Village, you will assist residents with activities of daily living they cannot perform without help while maintaining their independence and freedom of choice. Duties include assisting with medication, dressing, and personal care; escorting residents to and from activities or events; performing minor housekeeping; and completing other tasks as necessary. The position has part-time openings with shifts listed as 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., with every other weekend required. Shift differentials are offered for evening, night, and weekend shifts. The community is located at 1203 N E St, Indianola, IA 50125. Applicants must complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old; this is required to pass medication.
- One year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.
Nice To Haves
- Medication Manager certification preferred.
