About The Position

Aegis Living is seeking a Medication Care Manager to support senior residents. The role involves dispensing medications, maintaining medication records, monitoring and communicating changes in residents’ conditions, and assisting with physical care, meals, and activities. The position also calls for effective communication, teamwork, organization, relationship-building, and a focus on resident and family satisfaction. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday on the PM shift.

Requirements

• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the theory and practice of assisted living and Alzheimer’s care.
• Skill in building relationships with residents.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Ability to successfully complete the Aegis Medication Training Certification program.
• Knowledge of and ability to assist residents with medications.
• Must meet all health requirements, including acceptable results on a TB screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Inform others of changes in a resident’s condition.
• Dispense medications to residents.
