About The Position

CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Elkhorn, Nebraska, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide for a part-time position working days and evenings. The role supports residents by administering medications according to physician orders and care plans, documenting medication administration, monitoring residents’ well-being, and assisting with personal needs while respecting their dignity and independence. The Medication Aide also builds relationships with residents, families, and team members and contributes to a positive, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Meet Nebraska’s applicable Medication Aide certification, training, and registry requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills for electronic medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults.
• Be dependable and available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
