About The Position

Holland Farms Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community in Norwalk, Iowa, is seeking a part-time Medication Aide to support residents' safety, comfort, and well-being. The role administers medications according to physician orders, care plans, and applicable regulations; maintains accurate electronic medication records; and observes residents for changes in condition, side effects, or other concerns to report promptly. The Medication Aide also assists residents with personal care and daily activities while promoting dignity and independence, and builds positive relationships with residents, families, and team members in a warm, welcoming environment. Applicants must meet applicable Iowa Medication Aide certification and training requirements. They should be attentive to detail, communicate clearly and compassionately, be comfortable using electronic documentation systems, have a genuine interest in supporting older adults, and be dependable and available for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Requirements

Meet applicable Iowa Medication Aide certification and training requirements.
Follow medication administration procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
Have basic computer skills and comfort using electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
Have a genuine passion for helping older adults.
Be dependable and available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
