About The Position

CountryHouse Elkhorn, an Agemark Senior Living community, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to support residents. The role involves safely administering medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans, accurately documenting medication administration, and observing residents for changes, side effects, or concerns. The Medication Aide also assists residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, and contributes compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift. The position is part-time, with days and evenings scheduled.

Requirements

• Meet Nebraska’s applicable Medication Aide certification, training, and registry requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills for electronic medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults.
• Be available for the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
