About The Position

Eventide Lincoln is hiring a part-time Medication Aide (MA40) for a day shift from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The position works every other Saturday and Sunday. The posting describes assisting residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with established nursing care procedures and under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge. The stated starting pay range for Medication Aides is $19.00–$21.28 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions based on employment status and shift worked.

Requirements

• MA40 license required.
• Active CNA license in the state of Nebraska required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring or ambulation, and continence.
• Assist with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follow department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritize assignments and adjust throughout the shift to meet changing or overlapping needs of seniors, clients, caregivers, team members, and managers, including responding to call lights when necessary.
• Perform duties within the assigned work environment as assigned by Eventide, regardless of team member preference.
• Follow the comprehensive care plan or service plan developed for each individual senior or client.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and safeguard protected health information at all times.
