About The Position

Humana is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents for a field-based role in Boone County, IN. This position involves working within a collaborative team of 8-12 agents, reporting to a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role focuses on delivering Humana's strategy by educating individuals on Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings, creating meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and in-home visits, and driving self-generated sales to expand Humana's market presence. The ideal candidate will be committed to putting members' health first and providing exceptional service.

Requirements

• Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain.
• Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
• Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events and engaging with the community through service, retail environment, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
• The first five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory for training.

Nice To Haves

• Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Bilingual in English and an additional language, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
• Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing a personalized experience.
• Drive self-generated sales and meet performance goals.
• Expand Humana's presence in the market by becoming a valued resource and building relationships in the community.
