About The Position
We are currently searching for linguists to join our Medical Talent Community. Given the highly regulated nature of the products in the Quechua market, we are looking for senior linguists with a proven track record specifically within the Life Sciences vertical. We prioritize linguists who understand the nuances of Patient Records and Clinical Protocols. Your specialized expertise will contribute to high-stakes medical and regulatory content.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
- Currently based in the United States of America
- A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
- Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding the nuances of Patient Records and Clinical Protocols.
Responsibilities
- Adapting and validating target text to meet compliance standards.
- Demonstrable experience in translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology.
- Ability to work within strict GxP environments and adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards.
