About The Position

Growth Acceleration Partners is seeking a highly experienced, US-based Staff QA Manager to take ownership of QA operations and improve processes across a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on establishing operational structure, improving capacity planning, increasing delivery visibility, and leading Data Warehouse QA initiatives to remediate data quality issues across four prioritized datasets. The manager will operate autonomously and partner with technical leads and business stakeholders to align competing priorities and move the team from a best-effort approach to a sustainable execution model.

The role requires the employee to be physically located and authorized to work in the United States. The position leads and mentors the onshore QA team, defines QA strategies and best practices, addresses operational bottlenecks, and ensures data integrity across enterprise systems. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be physically located and authorized to work onshore within the United States.
• 8+ years of professional QA experience, with a proven track record as a hands-on QA Manager or QA Leader taking ownership of enterprise QA operations.
• Extensive experience in Data Warehouse testing, ETL validation, and enterprise data quality remediation.
• Demonstrated experience improving QA processes, defining capacity management strategies, and increasing project delivery visibility.
• Proven ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments, manage competing priorities, and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Strong experience in QA leadership and operations, including capacity planning, resource allocation, process optimization, and delivery metrics tracking.
• Deep expertise in Data Warehouse testing, complex data transformation validation, and enterprise data integrity.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex source-to-target data reconciliation, gap analysis, and backend validation.
• Experience designing test strategies covering data pipelines, backend architecture, and frontend reporting.
• Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal, with exceptional executive communication skills.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, including building consensus and driving alignment across disparate teams.
• High degree of technical ownership and autonomy, with a strategic problem-solving mindset.
• Resilience and adaptability to lead a team through operational challenges and changing business priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience testing and validating modern cloud data platforms and architectures, such as Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Python and Pytest, with the ability to transition manual QA processes into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience validating business intelligence platforms and reporting tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the QA function, establishing operational structure, sustainable capacity planning, and clear delivery visibility.
• Lead Data Warehouse QA efforts and remediate data quality issues across four prioritized datasets.
• Establish consistent communication channels and prioritization frameworks with technical leads, Data Warehouse teams, and business stakeholders.
• Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies and best practices to resolve operational bottlenecks and replace unsustainable best-effort approaches.
• Lead, mentor, and allocate resources within the onshore QA team to balance software development with urgent quality remediation.
• Serve as the primary QA authority, proactively identifying risks, resolving cross-functional roadblocks, and ensuring data integrity across enterprise systems.
