About The Position
OhioHealth is hiring multiple Medical Technologists for its Core Lab in Mansfield, Ohio. The role provides accurate, precise, and timely patient test results to support the diagnosis and management of human illness. Medical Technologists use automated, computerized, and manual methods and are responsible for quality control, instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The work involves handling blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid, and other body fluids; specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases, including HIV and other bloodborne pathogens. As a High Reliability Organization, OhioHealth expects employees to focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while performing their duties. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or another related field.
- Registration by ASCP or AMT certification.
- Superior customer service skills.
