About The Position
Performs complex clinical laboratory analyses in specific or all major laboratory sections. Identifies problems and their causes, develops alternatives, and applies solutions. Confirms and verifies results using in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation. Reports to the Section Head and serves as Charge Person when supervisors are absent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a clinical laboratory or equivalent.
- MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation.
- Manual dexterity and mobility, including use of hands for fine manipulation.
- Visual acuity, including depth perception, peripheral vision, focus adjustment, and color distinction.
