About The Position

Performs a wide range of complex clinical laboratory analyses in specific or all major sections of the Core Lab. The Medical Technologist recognizes problems, identifies causes, synthesizes alternatives, and applies solutions. The role confirms and verifies results using in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation. Reports to the Section Head and serves as Charge Person in the absence of Supervisor(s). The position is part-time, 32 hours per week, with a days schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a clinical laboratory or equivalent.
• MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation.
• Manual dexterity and mobility, including use of hands for fine manipulation.
• Visual acuity, including depth perception, peripheral vision, focus adjustment, and color distinction.
