About The Position

A facility near Winters, Texas, is hiring a Medical Technologist for a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position. The role performs routine and complex laboratory tests that support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases while following established standards and procedures. The Medical Technologist troubleshoots testing issues, maintains laboratory systems and quality control, and provides instruction and guidance as needed. Various scheduling opportunities are available, on day or evening shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required by the certification entity, except for MTs holding Health & Human Services certification issued before 1987.
• Completion of an approved Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) training program.
• Current registration as an MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP), or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities
