About The Position

The Medical Technologist performs a wide range of moderate- to high-complexity diagnostic testing across laboratory disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank. The role supports clinical decisions by delivering accurate and timely results and involves hands-on use of advanced laboratory technology.

The technologist operates and troubleshoots analyzers, validates quality control, maintains equipment, reviews and verifies test results, and protects specimen integrity throughout testing. The position also supports blood product preparation, compliance and documentation, and quality improvement and process development initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASCP certification as an MLS or MLT, required or obtained within 18 months and maintained during employment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

• 2–3+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
