About The Position

The Medical Technologist works as a generalist across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and gram stains. The role involves routine medical technologist duties, multitasking, and working independently. Phlebotomy is not required but is preferred. BLS is not required, though it is a bonus. Candidates must hold MLT or MT certification and ASCP or AMT certification. The Clinical Team reviews resumes and, if a candidate is recommended, an account manager sends the candidate to the unit manager for a phone interview. The preferred scrub color is charcoal grey, but it is not required.

Requirements

• MLT or MT certification.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Ability to perform routine medical technologist duties, multitask, and work independently.
• Experience or familiarity with LIS systems; examples listed include Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, and BioTracer.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Charcoal grey scrubs are preferred but not required.
