Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree is required
  • 2+ years experience in an appropriate clinical care setting is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Previous Hospice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Hospice team.
  • Interact with all employees, peers, and supervisors in a manner conducive to continuing positive relationships, display patience, courtesy, and tact.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to collaborate with others.
  • Foster positive morale by promotion of open communication with hospice teams
  • Provide direct support to hospice teams by sending electronic consents via DocuSign.
  • Review vendor claims, including notifying vendors of claims that are not hospice authorized or related via written notice, sending approved claims to accounts payable and the contracted rate and drafting letter of agreements if we do not have a contract.
  • Provide F2F oversight and assistance to ensure F2F are completed timely to avoid any write off’s by communicating with the clinical teams or scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the changing needs of the business.
