About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Grandview, Alabama. The role provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse administers prescribed medications and treatments, monitors and assesses patients, responds to emergencies, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, educates patients and families, and maintains detailed electronic health records. The schedule is night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including alternating weekends. Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with the Cerner electronic health record system.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, document changes, and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems.
