About The Position
Asbury Springhill is hiring a Registered Nurse for its full-time Weekender Program. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., plus one weekday second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Compensation is up to $43.52 per hour, plus shift differential and a $5.00-per-hour Weekender Premium for each weekend hour worked. The RN provides individualized care that meets residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs. The role includes processing orders, communicating changes in resident status, guiding CNAs and LPNs, completing admissions paperwork and nursing assessments, and preparing and administering medications and treatments as needed. The position is located at Asbury Springhill.
Requirements
- Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience.
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care addressing residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
- Obtain and promptly transcribe written and telephone orders, ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
- Notify physicians and responsible parties of changes in resident status.
- Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs and ensure policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are followed.
- Complete new-admission paperwork promptly, including nursing assessments.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments as needed.
