Medical Support Coordinator
About The Position
The Medical Support Coordinator position with Vitora Healthcare may be right for you if you have experience working in a front office healthcare setting and are looking to further your career in the administrative side of the medical field. The Medical Support Coordinators, or MSCs, with Vitora Healthcare are the assistants to the providers in our partnered facilities. Vitora Healthcare serves as the Medical Director for a variety of medical care facilities, including short term rehabilitation centers, long term care facilities, and assisted living centers. Our MSCs are responsible for creating provider schedules, preparing paperwork, taking/uploading vitals, and facilitating telemedicine visits. Most importantly, they are the liaison between providers and facility staff. The MSC should be a self-starter that is extremely dependable and professional with exceptional organizational skills. This is a full time position with a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 an hour.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be dependable and have flexibility to alter hours, meeting the needs of the practice
- Ability to travel between partnered locations
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in computer/tablet use and accurate typing skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in working in skilled nursing or the senior living environment is a plus
