About The Position

Odyssey Medical is seeking dedicated Primary Care Paramedics (PCPs) to join their Event Medical Team for Halifax Pride. The role involves providing primary response to medical emergencies, acting as an extension of the client's presence, and contributing to a supportive team culture. This position offers the possibility of future event work.

Requirements

• Certification: Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
• Availability to work Halifax Pride
• Customer service-oriented mindset (welcoming, informative, helpful, respectful)
• Willingness to engage and apply proper procedures, guidelines and protocols
• Confident demeanor, whether working independently, with a partner, or as part of a larger team
• A transportation plan (car, carpooling, rideshare) to get to/from the event site

Responsibilities

• Provide risk-matched care as a primary response to on-location medical emergencies.
• Act as an extension of the client's eyes and ears, projecting a welcoming yet alert presence.
• Engage and apply proper procedures, guidelines, and protocols.
• Work independently, with a partner, or as part of a larger team for major planned events.
