About The Position

Young At Heart Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented individual to enter literal orders and ensure medication administration records and physician order sheets are accurate. The posting also describes an Adjudication Pharmacy Technician role responsible for ensuring prescriptions are dispensed to eligible patients and billed properly according to their benefit plans, while maintaining a positive and pleasant demeanor with customers and colleagues and accurately confirming eligibility and billing. Young At Heart Pharmacy's parent owner, Custom Health, provides a tech-enabled medication management and managed care solution. Its operations use proprietary software to coordinate pharmacies, at-home medication management, real-time clinical oversight, and the collection of real-world data and insights.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented.
• Experience working within a long-term care or closed-door pharmacy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Input all literal order data into the computer system.
• Ensure accuracy of the patient, facility, payor, physician, lab, treatment, literal order, and facility standing order.
• Review orders for correctness, duplications, allergies, and valid legal prescriptions.
• Work directly with customer facilities by phone to enter accurate information.
• Troubleshoot order issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure prescriptions are dispensed to eligible patients and billed in accordance with their benefit plans.
• Confirm eligibility and billing accurately while maintaining a positive and pleasant demeanor with customers and colleagues.
