About The Position

Stillwater Medical Group is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join its Primary Care Frontline team. The role is primarily responsible for rapidly and accurately answering and responding to incoming telephone calls from patients and/or employer groups. Employees are expected to meet department-specific agent expectations regarding measurement and follow the department’s defined guidelines and processes.

The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift, with occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of related experience.
• Accurate computer and keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.
• Proficiency operating telephones and headsets, PCs, printers, photocopiers, and fax machines.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Comfort asking patients for copays and race collection.
