Requirements

  • High School level education
  • Type 40 wpm
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel are required
  • Must be personable, dependable, and responsible
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude with impeccable customer service skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the efficient and timely entry of the patient to the office setting.
  • Greet all patients in a professional manner.
  • Hand out appropriate literature and information & forms to be filled out by patient; check for accuracy and completion.
  • Copy insurance ID cards and driver's licenses, and perform other general office activities related to medical practice.
  • Support front office business administrators and the Office Manager in various operations areas and tasks.
  • Pull and file patient records.
  • Engage in frequent telephone communication with patients, including outreach and scheduling support.
  • Set up new patient charts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
  • Screen patients and employees daily upon entry.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Room patients while adhering to social distancing guidelines.
  • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Sanitize and clean respective areas as needed.
