Carolina TotalCare in Concord, NC is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist - Insurance Biller to join their team. Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to be on your feet and active during your shift
  • Ability to use/learn the office billing software, EHR, clearinghouse, insurance portals, phone system, and internal communication tools
  • Dependable, organized, accurate, professional, and comfortable working with billing details
  • Team player who thrives in a structured yet caring environment
  • Outgoing, empathetic, and detail-oriented personality

Nice To Haves

  • Medical billing and insurance experience
  • Experience in a chiropractic, medical, or dental office
  • Previous billing, insurance, chiropractic, healthcare, administrative, or EHR experience

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Answer patient questions with confidence.
  • Manage appointment schedules.
  • Verify insurance information.
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims.
  • Track claim status.
  • Post payments.
  • Review patient balances.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding billing matters.

  • Maintain accurate records.
