About The Position
Silicon Valley Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Insurance Biller to join its established team in the Sunnyvale area. The role focuses on insurance coordination and payments, supporting a seamless billing experience and helping resolve billing issues. The practice describes its workplace as supportive and values the skills and dedication of its team members. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The pay range is $23–$30 per hour.
Requirements
- Prior dental insurance billing experience.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance plans and terminology.
- Experience with in- and out-of-network insurance plans and entering insurance payments.
Responsibilities
- Post insurance payments into dental practice management software.
- Submit narratives as requested by insurance companies.
- Follow up on denied and outstanding claims.
- Send patients' statements for balances.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless billing experience.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and issues when necessary.
- Assist with coding and documentation requirements.
