The Support Services Representative will greet patients, register new patients in the computer system, and maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information. This role involves answering and assisting all incoming telephone calls, providing timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries, scheduling appointments using a computerized scheduling system, resolving patient issues and consistently meeting or exceeding patients’ service expectations, maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information, checking patients in when arriving for their appointments, notifying all necessary staff of patient arrival, checking patients out after office visits and scheduling follow-up appointments if necessary, and verifying patient insurance, demographic and contact information, making any necessary changes as needed.
