About The Position

Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. (CNAHSI) is a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to our community. We are thrilled to launch a brand-new, single-physician family care practice in Ardmore, Alabama. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, highly organized leader to help us build this clinic from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hybrid role designed for a skilled professional who can wear two hats: directing the administrative business operations of a startup clinic, while utilizing their Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials to handle clinical flow during our initial growth phase.

Requirements

• Active Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is required.
• Active BLS is required.
• 2+ years of experience in medical office management, clinic coordination, or senior clinical leadership.
• Strong understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent independent problem-solving skills and a passion for startup environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with or knowledge of FQHC compliance/HRSA guidelines is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinic’s daily operational workflows, vendor relationships, and local supply chain.
• Oversee on-site compliance for HRSA, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
• Help establish local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Direct front-office scheduling workflows and coordinate the patient intake pipeline.
• Act as the lead clinical assistant to our physician during initial startup phases; handle patient rooming, take vitals, administer injections, and execute physician-led clinical orders.
