About The Position

EyeCare Partners is seeking a medically trained optometrist to join Commonwealth Eye Care Associates and collaborate with its established group of ophthalmologists at the Henrico and Colonial Heights offices. This is a medically focused, referral-based position. The practice does not provide routine vision care and does not have an optical, allowing the optometrist to focus on medical care and benefit from an established local OD referral network. The optometrist will coordinate patient care and maintain strong relationships with medical care partners inside and outside the practice. The practice provides the latest technology and electronic medical records, a supportive clinical team, and skilled scribes. Residency training or experience in a medically focused office is preferred.
