National Wound Physician Group is hiring a geriatrician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record. The position offers full-time or part-time scheduling. Full-time work is 4–5 weekdays per week, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time work is at least 3 days per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Employment is W-2, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable. The posting lists annual compensation of $200,000–$350,000 and says W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, plus benefits.
