About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Hospitalist to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The employer provides paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year according to the posting; the listed salary range is $200,000–$300,000 per year. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
