About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Hospitalist to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers clinical autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time physicians work at least 3 weekdays per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
