About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Medical Oncologist in Stuart, FL. The role involves providing outpatient medical oncology consultations and follow-up care for adult and geriatric patients. The physician will develop and manage treatment plans, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, document patient encounters, and maintain medical records. The position also includes participation in a light call rotation (approximately 1:6) and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The coverage period is from November 30, 2026, to March 01, 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The patient volume is up to 3 new patients and 8 established patients per day, with a case mix of Medical Oncology and Breast Cancer. The facility utilizes Aria and Beacon modules for EMR and has support staff including nursing, 6 APPs, a dietician, a navigator, and clerical staff. This coverage is needed to backfill a departing physician.

Requirements

• Universal License (IMLC)
• BC/BE in Medical Oncology
• Board Certified in Oncology

• Experience with Aria and Beacon EMR modules.
