About The Position
Seeking a Board Certified Medical Oncologist for a Locum Tenens position in Lansing, MI. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient medical oncology care to adult patients, managing chemotherapy and biologic therapy regimens, and evaluating/treating various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. The physician will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and document patient encounters in the Epic EHR system. This is a clinical-only coverage role for a maternity leave, with a shift schedule of Monday-Friday, 3 days per week, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Oncology
- Active Michigan Medical License
- BLS Certification
- Clean Malpractice and License History
- NPDB self-query required
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient medical oncology care to adult patients.
- Manage chemotherapy and biologic therapy regimens.
- Evaluate and treat various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team including radiation oncology, surgery, and supportive services.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in Epic EHR.
